This year we are lucky enough to have amazing hand made candles to have on our ofrenda inspired by the Bi-Centenario celebrations and exhibitions i saw a month ago in Mexico City.
Its a time to remember the dead and Party with them. In my experience of the Day of the Dead in Mexico it is a jubilant occasion with everyone honoring the relatives at the cemetery with food, tequila and musicians, laughing and dancing are normal, what a beautiful way to remember your loved ones!
a beautiful way to remember indeed. (just had my fair share with friends and our beloved pets passing away).
